Huawei Ascend Y200 and G300 Launched in India


Huawei Ascend Y200 and Ascend G300, two Android phones from the brand, were revealed in India recently, both being loaded with several engaging features.

These smartphones indicate the onset of 2 new series dubbed Ascend Y and Ascend G respectively.

To begin with, G300 features a 4-in WVGA IPS display, which comes with auto-rotation for browsing through the web or watching videos. There’s a surrounding light sensor that permits easy media streaming in a specific ambiance.

Powering this phone is an efficient 1 GHz processor, which helps the on-board Gingerbread OS in performing smoothly. You can also find a 5-megapixels autofocus snapper with video recording & LED flash gracing its exterior front.

The President of Huawei Devices India, Victor Shan said that they were highly excited to reveal the series of Ascend smartphones in Indian mobile market. Every Ascend product is supposed to be a pioneering flagship model designed to meet the requirements of specific customers. The categories offered are Ascend Y (youth), Ascend G (gold), Ascend P (platinum), and Ascend D (diamond).

Ascend Y200 and G300 are smartphones that are really easy to use and offer exceptional, performance, style, and power for the discriminating customers. Shan was confident that the impressive specifications and affordable price tag of this series, they are bound to turn out to be a popular model amongst the customers throughout the country.

Ascend G300 is based on Android 2.3 operating system and sports a 1 GHz processor, and 512 MB RAM in addition to the essential features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro USB port for connectivity. It measures 122.5 x 63 x 10.5 mm, weighing at 140 grams.
